PH5 WANTS YOU To Wear Knits in The Summer

PH5 NYFW Spring Summer 2020

The PH5 Spring 2020 show was more than a 5-year anniversary.

It’s hip to be square according to PH5. The Spring Summer 2020 collection was all about straight angles and trippy square patterns. The checkered patterns dominated the collection, interspersed with gauzy ruching and ethereal layering. This year was not only the collection’s 5-year celebration but a launch of their new eyewear line, which came in hip cool-girl shapes of their own.

Taking a cue from one of the season’s trends, layers were abounding, with gauzy pieces covering the body-con inspired dresses. The ’80s Japan inspiration turned up in the fun colors and playful ruching, with suits meant to bring some playfulness to traditional workwear attire.

This season also brought an added layer of tech to the knits, integrating unique UV technology that changes the thread color in the sun. This means you’ll get a changing outfit depending on whether the clouds decide to come out that day.

While the presentation day remained drizzly and windy, the creamy beige and pink-toned colors still hinted at a flirty palette.
