Falling Hard for Fall Fashion: Oh The Trends You’ll Wear!

Fall is here, fall is here, fall is here!! Yes, I like fall. I’m one of those fashionistas that likes layering. Surprise, surprise. Good thing is there are plenty of trends this fall and winter season that don’t solely revolve on layering your best neutrals and knits. There’s some fun to be had, girls!

There’s a lovely new way to spice up clothes, and it involves intricate blingy accessories. Think costume jewelry. Also, good news, you know those sliced up pleats we’ve seen on the spring and summer runways? You can start getting those skirts and dresses this fall! They apply to the colder upcoming months as well as next spring.
Bring the black rock-chic boots out to pair with some micro-minis or 50 shades of grey menswear-inspired tailored suits. Fun tights, thigh-high boots, bold geometric prints, furry (faux for me!) hems and shoes make for a fun season. Going back to layering, though, it becomes easier this season with the advent of all the romantic, frilly looks we saw on the runways.

You can also hold on to those capes from last season. They’re still big! Also, bring along your culottes and wear them as much as you want to. Until the frost sets in at least.

I’m ready to do this! You can follow my looks along on Instagram and Glamhive this season. With Glamhive, you can shop the items directly to recreate the outfit yourself AND earn points when you shop. You can then redeem the points for gift cards from stores like Nordstrom, ASOS, and Zara. Cute outfit, and more cute outfit later. Win-win!

As far as beauty: Lips in shades of red wine and oxblood, shimmery eyeshadow, liner that goes beyond a tight-lined eye with graphic scribbles, soft smoky eye, and beautiful flush cheeks.
