HADA LABO Goku-jyun Foaming Face Wash Review:
Ever since going to Japan, I fell in love with Japanese face cleansers, which focus on producing a puff-like cloud of product to thoroughly and gently cleanse pores. I picked up 7 bottles of Shiseido Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam after using one bottle throughout my travels. They’re still on my shelf, but I wanted to switch things up in the winter since the cleanser can be a little bit drying during dry months.
Enter Hada Labo Goku-jyun foaming face wash! Hada Labo has two specific ranges: goky-jyun and shiro-jyun. Shiro-jyun brighten the complexion and work on making skin radiant, while goky-jyun focus on moisturizing properties. The primary moisturizing components are variations of hyaluronic acid, a beloved humectant and water-retaining molecule.
As soon as I received the bottle, I put it to the test. I tied my hair up and dispensed a pump. Surprisingly, that one pump was more than enough to thoroughly lather up and cleanse the entire face. After rinsing off and drying, my face felt supple and clean, not dry, squeaky and tight. I followed up with a moisturizing face mask and moisturizer for skin that’s absolutely glowing! Because there’s no fragrance, this foam is perfect for sensitive skin too.
