19 Stylish Films to Inspire You & Satiate Your Fashion Cravings

I had a solid summer while on break in high school where I devoted nearly every day to a movie. Needless to say, I’ve ticked off many of life’s great films. I also tend to meld a lot of films together unfortunately since I squeezed a marathon of three, four or sometimes even five into a span of one day.  I’ve since learned to pace myself and discovered more quintessential details that I find extremely satisfying. One is, of course, the style factor and the ability for fashion to shine in a film.

Some of these are pure entertainment while others are more serious explorations and behind the scenes glimpses of fashion editors and designers. I love getting inspired by the stylish protagonists or the costume designers who adamantly refused to bypass a single detail on screen. Alternatively, the ability to listen to biggest fashion influencers in the playing field, such as Anna Wintour or Bill Cunningham, leads to the appreciation of the work ethic beyond the images we’re so used to quickly glancing over. I like all sides of the coin, so I’m including all films with the potential to satiate a fashion craving!
