And lastly, coconut oil infuses the hair shaft with much-needed protein, which is excellent for chemically damaged strands.
Heat your oil for a few minutes and apply it on your hair, gently massage scalp and hair for 20 minutes then rinse off with shampoo. You will need to shampoo an additional time depending on the oil used and on your hair. Follow up with your regular conditioner.
Undernourished hair tends to be lackluster and dull. As a result, it’s more likely to damage and break off. Fish oil is known for its ability to nourish your hair follicles with its rich content in omega-3 fatty acids.
These fatty acids are essential for healthy hair. Adding fish oil to your hair care regimen or overall diet can significantly improve your health and your hair.
Everyday ingredients like honey, yogurt and avocados are not only a great food source but they nourish strands and make for excellent and affordable hair treatments! Many of the components have similar chemical structures to our naturally produced oils. For example, the oils in avocados are very similar to the oils produced by our skin!
