I’ve been a long-time Clarisonic user. Ever since I got enamored with all the glowing reviews, I splurged on it and never looked back. For the past several years, it always left me with smooth, beautiful skin, ready for its evening serums.

When I got my hands on the Foreo Luna Mini 2, I kept it on the shelf for several weeks before I finally decided to substitute my Clarisonic. I just didn’t think Foreo’s silicon touchpoints would deliver the same, deep clean my Clarisonic brush did. I was somewhat right, although much of it is probably psychological.

Here’s the deal: the Foreo Mini left my skin smooth and sparkling clean, but not as smooth as it felt after using the Clarisonic brush. My husband’s acneic and oily skin loves the silicone brush, however, so the skin type matters. My normal/combo/somewhat sensitive skin prefers the brush for that deep cleanse and smoothing of the dry areas.

I love the design, and it looks much cuter than the Clarisonic. Holding it does feel a bit clunky though, especially with the vibrations reverberating through your hands as you glide it over your face. A small handle would vastly improve the cleansing experience, though not many people complain about that.

A huge plus? All those pretty colors and not needing replacement brushes! And the charge holds a very long time. If you’re looking for a cleansing brush and have oily/acne-prone skin, this is a solid choice.
