– Pledge to switch out one thing in your diet in favor of a healthier item. I.e. If you love having something chocolate and you KNOW you tend to overdo it, pick a healthier chocolate dessert. Try the following recipe:1 (3oz-4oz) dark chocolate bar (i.e. 73% dark chocolate)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 (12.3oz) package silken tofu (firm) [you can choose a ‘lite’ such as
3 tablespoons sweetener
1 (9-inch) prepared chocolate wafer crust (go crustless to save calories!)
DirectionsMelt the chocolate with the vanilla extract in microwave or double boiler, being careful not to burn. Combine the tofu, chocolate mixture and sweetener in a blender or food processor and spin until smooth, about 1 minute. Pour the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the filling sets firm.
